Concern
I investigate P0626 and charging output that drops at idle with electrical loads applied.
Cause
The replacement NAPA alternator cannot maintain charging performance under the observed load conditions.
Correction
I replace the alternator with an OEM unit.
Verification
I recheck charging under load using the NOCO Boost Pro monitor and TOPDON ONE.
Status
Charging performance is restored during the recheck; a long-term result is not established.
